Graham Liddell

Company Director Graham Liddell formed Liddell Contracting in 1992 employing just two staff.

With over 20 years experience we now work across the West Coast region as well as nationally and employ a team of 32 skilled staff supporting industrial, commercial and government clients.

We also design and manufacture Kotuku Furniture® at our Greymouth Engineering Workshop along with rail, construction, electrical and engineering supplies.Graham welding

Anna LiddellOperations Manager Anna Liddell has been with the company in a full time capacity since 2004 when she started a mechanical engineering apprenticeship in the workshop. Anna Arc Air

As opportunities arose Anna diversified from the workshop into the civil division and using her talents for organisation, people management and planning Anna moved in to the Operations Manager role in 2008.

Anna oversees the Site Engineering team and coordinates the Crane and Workshop divisions along with senior trade staff to help deliver a superior service to all of our customers.

Additionally Anna holds a current STMS ticket and is responsible for creating our traffic management plans.


Ross BurlingCrane Manager Ross Burling joined Liddell's in 2010 as an already highly experienced and respected supervisor withinRoss in crane the Crane and Transport sectors.

With over 20 years experience operating and managing crews in civil construction Ross has a reputation for being able to find the right solution when supervising difficult jobs in difficult locations.

Ross has an excellent record for Health and Safety and is also responsible for developing our next generation of Crane Operators. He has been awarded the Holcim Certificate of Appreciation in 2013 for leading his crew with excellent Health and Safety Performance.


Martin SherrattResponsible for Design and Quality Control Martin Sherratt joined Liddells in 2006 after serving his apprenticeship in Design Office the United Kingdom as a fabricator/welder in heavy engineering and then gaining his City & Guilds qualification in AutoCAD. He worked several years in the UK as a Project Manager/Draughtsman before emmigrating to New Zealand.

Martin utilises his experience in design and AutoCAD coupled with his extensive hands on experience in engineering to excel in his current position.


S Keown-ScottJock Liddell joined the team in 2011. He quickly established himself as head of security as well as taking a special interest in the health and well-being of his co-workers. Jock enjoys having smoko with the team, conducting inspections of lunchboxes and helping dispose of excess food.

When he's not patrolling the yard and offices, or inspecting lunchboxes, Jock like to get his coworkers moving by playing fetch with them.
